History of Establishment and Development
The original point of Vinatrans Da Nang Joint –Stock Company is a subsidiary of Vietrans Saigon at Da Nang according to the establishment decision of the Ministry of Commerce signed on 05th Setember, 1996; on the basic of changing the Central Logistics Company to branch of Vietrans Saigon at that time.
In the early period of establishment, our branch faced variety of difficulties and challenges in personnel as well as working organization. However, the all staffs promote highest internal abilities, showed their responsibilities; besides, we also received the interest, actively support and favorable conditions from the general company at HCM City. By those helpfulness Vinatrans Da Nang found out the right direction toward the success in bussines: focuses on promoting domestic services in combination with the international freight forwarding on the basis of agency activities that the company signed contracts with shipping lines such as Hapag-Lloyd shipping line, Zim-Lines, RCL, Lloyd Triestino, etc., and foreign forwarding agents as Kuehne-Nagel, Panalpina, Jardine, Kintetsu, Morison, Kerry Logistics, CFS, ect., In addition, training and renovating company staffs were considered as one of the target that helped us create the powerful breakthrough as the premise for the continuing development of the company in the next years.
The changing structure of state management, Vietrans Saigon was under controlled of the Ministry of Ccommerce rather than depended on Vietrans Hanoi, were approved by the Ministry of Commerce.That event had opened a new page and pushed our company on strong development, quickly affirmed the position of our company on the bussiness market as well as raised our reputation toward our customer network in domestic and oversea. During the development, approved by the Ministry of Commerce Brand of Vinatrans at Da Nang had officially replaced for Vietrans Saigon in the early of September in 1998 and the trade name of Vinatrans Danang was also registered since then.
Based on the results of achievements in the early stages, Vinatrans Da Nang not only constantly improved the reputation with customers but also gained belief of the General company, the domestic and foreign agents.
Our branch had identified that the service quality and the brand reputation were the measures as well as the first target to determine the existence and long-term development of our company.
Based on the great success in recent years, in the end of July, 2002, Vinatrans Da Nang implemented enterprise privatization, changed the state ownership under the policy of the government.
Today, in the process of growing, Vinatrans Da Nang keeps developing in both width and depth in all fields, expanding the scope of work through a network of offices and branches in Qui Nhon, Hue, Quang Ngai, Nha Trang and HCM and enlarge our company activity scale on a new step; diversify all kind of services and active area as well as business organization to create the link and coordination, supplement and completion in the activities of our company effectively in order to the increasing prestige in domestic and overseas markets and to reinforce customers’ belief.
